What are the free-trial limitations?
The free demo version works just like the full version with only 2 limitations:
- A "Demonstration Version" watermark is displayed across the charts.
- Portfolios are limited to 10 projects maximum.
Does the Optsee® demo version include a data set?
Yes, the demonstration version includes several portfolios of fake projects, and includes examples of all the charting, simulation, and optimization features so you can get started exploring Optsee® quickly.
How long does it take to get started?
We will send you the download information usually within a business day of receiving your registration confirmation. You can then download and install Optsee® right away, and it will open in the demo mode.
Do I have to talk with anybody first?
No. Optsee® also comes with a detailed HTML "Help" file as well as a Quick Start Guide. You can also find detailed video instructions for many Optsee® operations on our video demos page.
Is the Optsee® compatible with older operating systems?

You must purchase a license to register Optsee® and unlock it from the demo mode. Optsee® is registered via the Internet. The Optsee®Desktop Version is licensed for a single user on a single machine, so the registration code that you received is unique for your name and your computer. You will need to contact Data Machines if you are planning to move to a new user or machine after you have registered.
Can I still see my data after I purchase a license?
Yes, Your data files will be accessible with a new paid-licensed version. Click here for purchase information.
How do I get technical support?

Is this the most recent version?
Yes.
Can Optsee® be installed on a virtual machine?
No. Optsee® single user desktop is licensed to one individual and one machine. It may be installed on a single machine in a virtual environment for use by the owner of that machine, but it may not be installed in a single machine and then accessed as a virtual application by other machines on the network or using a remote desktop. Optsee® single user desktop is not designed for multiple users.
